Every growing business hits a wall at some point

“We Need More Customers”

Referrals have slowed down, enquiries are unpredictable, and growth has stalled. We help you build a steady flow of quality leads so your pipeline becomes more reliable.

“Customers Can’t Find Us Online”

A great business deserves to be seen. We help you improve your online visibility so the customers already looking for your services can actually find you.

“Our Marketing Isn’t Working”

Digital marketing for small businesses should generate measurable value. If you have spent money on marketing but cannot confidently say what is delivering results, we focus on the numbers that affect your bottom line.

“We Don’t Know What To Do Next”

Digital marketing for small businesses should not feel overwhelming. We help you prioritise the right activities, avoid costly distractions and move forward with confidence.

Why businesses choose Silverback

Strategy before tactics

We don’t start by selling you SEO, Ads or a new website. We start by understanding your business, your customers and where the real opportunities for growth are.

Built around your business

No templates. No one-size-fits-all packages. Your strategy is shaped around your goals, your market, your budget and where your business is today.

Results you can measure

Clicks and impressions have their place, but they’re not the reason you’re investing in marketing. We focus on the numbers that matter – enquiries, customers, revenue and growth.

Straight-talking expertise

Digital marketing for small businesses can feel unnecessarily complicated. We make it understandable, explain what we’re doing and why, and give you the clarity to make better decisions.

Where our client started

One of our clients, a nationwide specialist contractor was experiencing dwindling sales over a period of a few years. The market had changed and the amount of work available via traditional pipelines had significantly reduced.

Our client had no real digital presence apart from a static website that saw very little traffic and had never generated any leads. Historically, the client had not bought into digital marketing; work had always come through long-term relationships.

Before the strategy consultation, we carried out an analytics audit to understand the client’s internal position and the competitive landscape.

The first priority was the website. It had not been optimised for technical, on-site or off-site SEO, so Google had little reason to rank it prominently.

We analysed the client’s competitors and found that many had a significant head start. Keyword, backlink and competitor research—combined with Google search data—showed what the client needed to do to catch up. It also revealed valuable keyword opportunities that competitors had missed.

What we did next

Work started with the website. Search engines favour websites that work well, are configured correctly and follow established technical standards, so Silverback restructured the site to make it easier to crawl and understand.

Next, we rewrote the website content for two reasons: to help search engines understand the client’s expertise and to tell a clearer, more persuasive story that could turn visitors into enquiries.

We strengthened the site’s authority by adding case studies and a company blog, then publishing useful, high-quality content around topics that mattered to prospective customers.

We also improved off-site SEO through carefully placed guest articles and relevant backlinks from respected industry websites. These signals helped strengthen the client’s authority and credibility.

Because sustainable SEO typically takes six to eight months to build momentum, we also created optimised paid-search campaigns to generate shorter-term visibility and enquiries.
